Dental implants are, without exception, the way to go if you have a missing tooth or teeth. We are in 2022 today, and dentures are really so last century! There can be so many problems with them. But dental implants work in the same way that the missing tooth or teeth did, so they do not suffer from the issues that dentures do.
However, dental implants do cost more than dentures. But then the best solution for anything always does. It is also the case that many people do not have dental insurance, and that isn’t only the case with “poor” people. Many working-class and middle-class people do not have dental insurance that covers dental implants. So, for them, dental implants and insurance can be an issue.
At San Francisco Dental Implant Center, our specialty is, as you might guess, providing our patients with dental implants. And we have the answer to the problem of dental implants and insurance.
First, we can contact your insurance company to ascertain whether your insurance covers you for a part, or all, of the dental implants that you need. It is possible that it could do. We accept insurance from a very wide range of insurance companies. However, even if you are not fully covered, are partially covered, or not covered at all by insurance, we still have plenty of options available for you.
Nothing Should Stand In The Way Of The Best For Your Oral Health
We do not believe that the cost of dental implants should stand in the way of anyone having the absolute best for their oral health. The way that dental implants work is that the implant, which is a screw made of titanium, is inserted into the jawbone. Over the course of a few weeks, the jawbone will grow tightly round the implant in a process known as osseointegration. For all practical purposes, the implant becomes a part of the jawbone.
The crown is then attached to the top of the implant and – lo and behold! – you have a new tooth. Or teeth. That perform in exactly the same way as the original ones did.
You can eat anything that you want. Rare steak, apples, corn on the cob, nuts, you name it. They cannot slip and slide about as dentures can. You once more have the perfect smile. Nobody will know that you have dental implants unless they are family, or you tell them.
As for the issue of dental implants and insurance, it is not a problem. If you are not covered, or only partially covered, by insurance, we have a choice of different finance options. These include some that carry no interest. They can run over 12 months up to four years, so there is sure to be one which fits your budget. We also accept all major credit cards.
So don’t let insurance be an issue. Get the best. Get dental implants.
